THE PREACHER MAN AND THE GHETTO GOSPEL ARTIST WOW THE CROWD AT THEIR FIRST TOUR STOP IN D.C.

Lil Baby and Rod Wave make their first tour stop in Washington D.C at the fairly new music venue The Anthem.

Rod Wave, better known as the Ghetto Gospel artist, opened the show with ‘Sky Priority‘ the first track on his second project of 2019 as the crowd sang along to every word, adlib and rest mark.

Within his timely segment, Rod rocked the crowds and the sound waves extended way far outside of the arena, giving his D.C. fans a show to remember, highlighting songs like Green Light, Heart on Ice and Dark Conversations.

Grammy nominated and BET’s 2019 Best New Artist award recipient Lil Baby had Sum 2 Prove as he rapped endless ballads bar for bar. Baby was unaware that the audience had something to prove as well providing backup on every track.

Several number 1 hits, most popular and most notable gave fans a memorable experience. The Preacher Man’s set included audience participation in a ‘Woah‘ challenge, a confetti rainstorm and a dark room lit by cellphone flashlights.

Anthem was literally a packed house–it’s clear quality isn’t the only thing controlled, quantity is as well.

The concert was brought to you by Major Life Entertainment and a host of additional sponsors before Wave sets out on his Ghetto Gospel tour, which kicks off in March.
